About ACM-CIT STUDENT CHAPTER

CIT ACM Student Chapter (Group ID: 65644), since its inception in 2008, has actively organized a variety of events for the student community of CIT. Our team comprises 25 members—6 ACM members, 3 faculty sponsors, and the rest are enthusiastic students with a strong passion for Information Technology and Computer Science. The chapter’s activities are guided and initiated by our dedicated faculty sponsors, Dr. S. Sangeetha Mariammal, Dr. N. Geetha and Ms. S. Nithya, who envisioned empowering CSE and IT students by enhancing their coding, creative, and employability skills.

ACM Eminent Speaker sessions are held annually to expose students to cutting-edge topics in computer science. The CIT ACM Student Chapter aims to enrich the educational experience of IT and CSE students in the region by conducting engaging activities that spark interest and motivation in the field.
